After years of producing quality steel
products,Corus has closed its Teesside plant in the North of England.Over 1200
jobs will be lost and the knock on affect will see another 5000 + jobs go in the
surrounding areas.
What gets me is the British government spent over
850 billion pounds of tax payers money in bailing out our banks but couldn't
find a penny to help out this plant..Our government is full of upper class snobs
with loads of money who don't care about the working class, the people who build
this country with blood and sweat.
I have many friends that work at the plant and to
do this in the season of peace and goodwill sucks big time and I hope the main
men within Tata Steel don't sleep well for years. All the effort the Teesside guys put into saving the plant was all a waste of time and only Tata made money from their efforts in cost cutting etc.....
Dear Mr Brown
Instead of spending billions of Pounds on the pointless war in Afghanistan and helping the banking system get something done for the British work force..STOP BEEN A NOOB
