No more Teesside steel

After years of producing quality steel
products,Corus has closed its Teesside plant in the North of England.Over 1200
jobs will be lost and the knock on affect will see another 5000 + jobs go in the
surrounding areas.
What gets me is the British government spent over
850 billion pounds of tax payers money in bailing out our banks but couldn't
find a penny to help out this plant..Our government is full of upper class snobs
with loads of money who don't care about the working class,the people who build
this country with blood and sweat.
I have many friends that work at the plant and to
do this in the season of peace and goodwill sucks big time and I hope the main
men within Tata Steel don't sleep well for years.All the effort the Teesside guys put into saving the plant was all a waste of time and only Tata made money from their efforts in cost cutting etc.....

No one gives a crap about manufacting in the UK. If it costs too much to make it then we will buy it in cheaper.
We still have a ton of coal here in the UK but still buy in the coal we need to run our power stations.

I am sorry for the job losses though. It's not nice and we made fine quality steel.

I here what you say Bandit...But we all should give a crap as what else is there..We are now starting to realize that buying junk isnt the way forward.The things we import are crap and in the near future we will demand and pay for quality.By them the UK will be stuffed because we will have got rid of the skilled work force....As for the coal,we are sitting on tonnes of the stuff and its coal and not that powered crap from overseas...Its a **** been English hey....Respect Bandit
