OpTic Gaming's New Roster

If you are a fan of competitive Call of Duty, then you are no stranger to OpTic Gaming. A few years ago, the organization quickly rose to fame on YouTube for their incredible Call of Duty sniping game play. Not too later afterward, they began formulating a competitive squad to represent them across the nation in various tournaments. During the 2011 season, they were finally becoming recognized as a dominant force within the competitive Call of Duty community and were definitely a solid team. With the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at the end of 2011, the organization created perhaps the most storied roster in all of the series.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 2012 roster of OpTic Gaming included Seth "Scump" Abner, Will "BigTymer" Johnson , Joe(y) "Merk" Deluca, and Raymond "Rambo" Lussier. Utterly dominating their competition, OpTic won nearly every tournament in which they participated in, only losing European Gaming League 8 to TCM Gaming in a heartbreaking final. Following their dominance in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 season, the team was asked as to how their roster lineup would appear in the 2013 season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. As expected with their massive amount of chemistry with one another as well as success, the team responded saying that they would be keeping their roster for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 season.

As many of you know, Frag Cup 4, a huge Call of Duty tournament brought to the community by both Machinima and 360icons is scheduled to played soon. One of the teams which was to be in participation was OpTic Gaming. However, to the team's dismay, Raymond "Rambo" Lussier, perhaps the most intelligent individual to ever play the series, was not allowed to participate. Due to his residential location, certain policies concerning prize money and whatnot forbid him to play in the tournament. The team then knew they had to find a replacement. They quickly chose a long time OpTic member and the former OpTic Gaming competitive team's captain, Matt "NaDeSHoT" Haag.

However, the team also announced that "NaDeSHoT" was to be with the team for Frag Cup 4 and for the remainder of the season, to the community's shock. Many fans have voiced their opinions on the matter and their responses to the roster change are mixed. Did "Rambo" deserve to be dropped from the team altogether, despite his massive amount of dedication, skill, and intelligence? Or does "NaDeSHoT" deserve to take over and showcase his skills in hopes to dominate the 2013 season with OpTic Gaming? Voice your opinion in the comments section!
