As many of you are well aware of, Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty, a game developed by Blizzard Entertainment, is one of the leading eSports titles worldwide. The game was released to the public on July 27^th, 2010, and has had tremendous success since its debut. Somewhat recently, an expansion pack to the military science fiction real-time strategy game, titled Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, was formulated and was discharged to the excited community in beta format. Although only a minimal amount of users were provided with the opportunity to participate in the beta from the start, Blizzard has announced that the beta will be extended to additional gamers throughout the world.

    Any players who pre-purchased the expansion digitally on Battle.net on or before December 18 are now flagged for beta access. Also, players who digitally pre-order after December 18 will be included in the beta in waves on a weekly basis, or as close to one as possible. All users will be allowed to download the beta client, but only players who have been granted access to participate in it will be able to log in and compete. Retailers such as Amazon have been and will continue to offer promotional beta codes for all users who purchase the game before its release with their organization.

    Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm is scheduled to be made available to the public on March 12^th, 2013. The game is supposedly the second portion of the Starcraft 2 trilogy which is in progress of being created by Blizzard Entertainment. As for the campaign section of the game, it will most likely contain approximately 20 missions, which will take place in the perspective of Sarah Kerrigan, who has recently been transformed back to her human state by the ‘Wings of Liberty’ protagonist, Jim Raynor. In the multiplayer part of the title, additional units and some changes have taken place from its predecessor, ‘Wings of Liberty’.
