How do you join a clan?

How do you actually join a clan here? I've checked several and I see no indicators like a button that says "join this clan" or anything. How do clans get members if there's no way to join?
I have someone who wants to join my clan here, and I have no idea how they join it.

1). Free agents' (those listed as available for recruitment) can look for Clan/Teams in the Team/Clan Recruitement Forum.
2). You can invite members to your clan via your Account Home: there's a tab called 'Clans'. (Members can join teams on the Team Profile and clicking on the button 'Join this team', but you need to be invited by clan (co-)owners if you want to join a clan).

A Clan at FraggedNation is simply a group of players, and NOT a competition team. Clans are a way to bring everyone together on the site who is part of the same Clan or Guild. Setting up a Clan creates a Public and Private forum for that Clan here on FraggedNation, and also groups together players and stats on the Clan Home Page.
Clans are NOT TEAMS that can participate in Ladders or Tournaments. To participate in a Ladder or Tournament, you must create a TEAM by going to your Team Memberships console located in the 'Competition' tab on your account home page. Click [ here ] to go to the Team Memberships page and create a competition team.
Clans MAY PARTICIPATE in Prove-It! matches.
