What is a GUID ?
GUID's (=game user ID) are unique identifiers used in games to recognise players. In games that use Steam, we use its Steam ID
How do I find out my Steam ID and enter it to FraggedNation?
If you're not sure how to find out your own Steam ID please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Go to your Steam Community profile in Steam (or in your browser).
Step 2: Right-click in the page and select "Copy Page URL..." (or from the address bar if you are using your browser).
Step 3: Visit Steam ID Finder and paste in the copied URL and submit it.
Note: It can also be your Steam account name if your Steam account is very old.
The result should look something like : STEAM_0:X:XXXXXXXX (number of digits will vary)
Step 4: Enter your Steam ID on FraggedNation.
Step 5: If you don't know where to enter the ID, go to your account menu and choose the tab competition. There you should see a picture with the text GUID keys. Click on it. There you should see a little text box and a list of games. Paste your ID in the text box, choose the game you want it to apply for. Then click the 'add' button and you're finished.
You are now eligble to play in matches.
