Subject: Is Downloading Custom Maps A Pain?? READ HERE AND REJOICE!! :)
This is an executable based off the quake3.exe , it allows auto downloads of missing maps at your full download speed.
The download source site is http://q3a.ath.cx , this archive site has almost all quake3 maps.
*note.. this does not work with servers running punkbuster.

Walk Through
- download zip file
- unzip dfengine.exe into your main quake3 folder ( that has your quake3.exe )
- read the readme.txt file that comes with it
- execute dfengine.exe
- in console type dl_usebaseq3 1 ( this downloads the maps to your baseq3 folder, instead of the current mod folder )
- in console type cl_mapAutoDownload 1 ( should be set already )
Off Server Downloading
- in console type download ospmap0.pk3 ( downloads the osp map pack to the baseq3 folder )
On Server Downloading
- in console type connect 72.9.97.35
- in console type callvote map ospdm1 ( or whatever the missing map is )
72.9.97.35 is my Ny Server. It has these customs maps on it. Punkbuster is also off all the time, except fraggednation match times.
