Ladder Admin Consecutive Match Option
Subject: Ladder Admin Consecutive Match Option
For my ladder matches take no more than 20 minutes... a option to allow users to compete more than 1 time every hour would benefit my ladder and may help increase activity.
Because each game/game mode takes more time than others, this could be a Ladder Setting Option in the Admin Control Panel under Ladder Settings.
Basically allow the Ladder Owner to set how many Open Challenges a participant may have in a 1 Hour Period. Maybe have these options: 4 Per Hour (every 15 minutes), 3 Per Hour (every 20 Minutes), 2 Per Hour (every 30 min) and 1 Per Hour.
My 1v1 Dome Ladder for MW3 matches wont take more than 15 minutes..

You should have this ability already for players to post multiple matches in the open challenges.
I am guessing though, that the restriction right now for the system, as you can tell, is 1 match every hour correct?

The restriction is one every hour. Comes up with a warning but when facing people on a certain ladder, most matches last a MAX of 40 minutes and I have had committed players that one every 45 minutes would be more suitable.
Some matches do last 20 minutes like Darkside said and it does become a little annoying according to some I've spoken to.
Maybe the system should: Come up with a warning but shows when the nearby match is and the option to go ahead with the challenge if the player feels the time frame is good.

How would you like this fixed.
Obviously the concern is people overlapping challenges. Additionally, the change request system allows you to play another match earlier if you want as well.

It is up to the player and they accept the risk of accepting the challenge in the short time frame.

Could be but it could lead into a more wide spread.
Like this ex: I have a team match on the 4v4 ladder at 6:30pm, I want to warm up but the only match I can get is at 5:45pm on a different ladder and I know the match will last no more than 40 minutes. I accept the challenge and know I take the risk that should the match last longer that I risk the team match but I know I can make.

A warning could come up when making a challenge that may overlap another saying "You have another challenge scheduled for this time, if it should be accepted you risk a no show" or something. Each member would just need to be responsible and not go challenge happy or try contacting the opponent ahead.
Another idea would be to have teams/participants enter a time duration their match took when inputing scores then have the ladder come up with a average and round it off. Each ladder would have its own time frame based on its match times.
