Personally, I believe that the last website layout for FraggedNation was better.
Firstly, in my opinion - the colors were a perfect balance between light and dark.
Secondly, the layout made sense according to the theoretical study of eye movement path on a web page.
Thirdly, the last version of FN was faster and had nearly instant queries and returns... which made navigating fast and easy.
