My mother decided to spend about $100 on my laptop screen and housing..

I'll soon be back to PC gaming , Can't wait for it to be shipped and received.

Have any of you ever broke your laptop screen and how long did it take for you to get it replaced?

I have had tons of laptops. Sometimes the shell breaks (no big deal as long as everything works) and sometimes I have had the screen break (bigger deal since you cant see anything).

Depends on what type of laptop you have and where you are for repairs. I used to live in a place that had a fair number of people and getting parts was pretty easy. If you live in a big city then most likely no big deal. If you live in the sticks then you have to wait for the mail to deliver it after a couple weeks of ordering.

To replace, it takes like an hour for a repair person to do it.
