I think this might bring in some new users.

Being a former GB user, that is 1 thing I was dissapointed in is the lack of XB Arcade Games with Ladders.

There are quite a few good Competitive Games for ALL AGES that have NO LADDER on any website.

Some Examples:
NFL Blitz
3v3 NHL
Golf: Tee It Up
Street Fighter 2 THD
Street Fighter 3 Online Edition
Marvel Vs Capcom 2
Mortal Kombat Arcade
Toy Soldiers
Deadliest Warrior

The way I would do it, is group them. When mousing over GAMES, have ARCADE GAMES a selectable option that takes you to a screen with the Available Games. You select the game you want and join/create ladders or tournies.

Basically the same idea if you were heading into CoD:MW3 for example. But instead of taking you directly to the Ladders, it takes you to the available list of Arcade Games.

We will add any game on your list if we see the support. That is simply easy.

How it gets added, well, it will be by platform since that is really how most of them are listed anyone. Either under XBOX or PS3.


If you can post up the games (each with their own thread) that you would like added and then get some support from friends or enemies on the game, that would be helpful. We are here to support the community, we just have to see the support that is all.

Do you think there are a number of people out there that would join ladders for Xbox arcade type games?

Are you always playing that sort of thing?

I play arcade games, and yeah if they had a ladder i would play on them. GB lacks in Arcade Ladders. But the ones they have are more active than some of their Console Game Ladders. I apologize for attempting to bring some new action to FN.

No one hear is throwing your idea out the window, just the opposite. We like the idea. I think you misunderstood my questions.

I was just asking about the popularity of the Xbox arcade games in relation to outside Xbox. I play some of the PS3 arcade games, but the ones I use are mainly 1 person games rather than multiples players.

I know they are popular to a degree but I am asking you since you may know than I on the popularity of the games you often play.

As DBL said we can add in games to the list easy enough.

As DBL suggest, if you think there is a game that could have its own ladder, make a new thread for EACH game you think could be added here, and then when you run into other people in Xbox or here, ask them to come and express their comments on that game.

If we see lots of people post, we can see the community wants it and we will add it...

But anyway, quite a few of the Multiplayer Arcade Games are mentioned in the forums on GB for a ladder to be added and never get noticed because the arcade forums are dead and their new suggestion/feedback system blows. The arcade forums are dead, but the ladders are not.

People are even signed up for NBA JAM even though they dont know if its NBA JAM OFE (Arcade) or NBA JAM (XB360 GAME). Its been asked in the forums multiple times with no answers, but still holds over 200 participants with 2 pages of ranked players. Just as 1 example.

Street Fighter has been mention many times on their forums, and the day NFL Blitz released there were 2 threads with people also requesting a ladder for it. All unnoticed. They dont have a admin for Arcade, there is nobody monitoring it, disputes are few and far apart and the forums are dead as i said so there is no need for a Admin for Arcade.

Players are trying new games from what theyve been playing. MW3 Users buying BF3 and vise versa. Gears 3 players playing Halo. People are looking for something new and exciting to play.

Let me get with DBL and discuss. We do need more people thought to post here in the forums to tell us which game(s) they want added (as we dont want to add a game and then no one show up to take part)

Which ones are the more popular out of the list you posted?

I will make the suggestion thread for the ones you suggest and then if you help us get a few people to post here to ask for them to be added, then with the community support we can add them in. We wont be adding 10 or anything but a few we can manage for sure.

Would not hurt to have someone help look after them too once we add them, but we will get to that later.

let me know what you think are the best choices (if you cant tell I am a PC player first, then PS3 and I dont have an Xbox myself so...)

I have no problem looking after them, actually I would love to do it.

The ones I listed from GB would help keep players here. By adding games not available on GB and also having the Popular GB Arcade Titles would hopefully bring new activity and keep them here. Why go between the 2 sites when FN has the Same Ladders and More.

Good points. Give me a little while to get those forum posts up and get some other back end things sorted. It is almost the end of the week and have lots to do.

If you want to help look after those games, we can get into that. Once the games are added you can apply to be admin over them... no worries.
