About Us:

Team k1 was created by NinjaX from Team SCK back in March 2005. SCK was the #1 Onslaught team in UT2004 winning several prize tournaments including XTGL (6 video cards) and GGL ($2,000). Bringing a few friends along, and recruiting some of the top talent in the open k1 was assembled to be a powerhouse among ONS teams.

Several core members still remain currently from the original 6 from 2005: NinjaX, Vicerant, Dresk and Shades. CDawg, and Yerfdog moved on from UT.

k1 managed to to climb the ladders and eventually dominate the competition after perfecting their lineup and strategies. They also took the same core members and ventured into TAM, vCTF, and Assault, gaining #1 in those respective gametypes as well in UT2004.

When UT3 was released, k1 felt vCTF was the only competitive mod being played that was unchanged from UT2004 and dedicated themselves to it.

k1 has been #1 ever since, even leaving and venturing back into the game a year later, k1 still can dominate with the same group of friends...picking up some new ones in the process.
