GUID
-All players need to make sure that they have the correct GUID entered in their login information. Guid at the time of the game should match the GUID entered on your account permanently.
-In case the GUID entered doesn't match to your actual GUID in game, you are not allowed to play in the match.
-Captains are required to check the GUID's of their players and opponents before the match starts. Once the match is played, it cant be disputed on grounds of GUID.

First and foremost:
Congrats to all the clans/teams on the 4v4 ladder who made the 3rd season an awesome success.
Also congrats to eM (1st), nL (2nd) and WaR(3rd) for some great games and chases on the ladder. Your accomplishment has been added to the Trophy section.
We played a hell lot of games this season compared to the previous two seasons. I hope the trend continues and more clans/teams join up to make this even bigger.
Season 4:
It starts on 17th of July. Will go on till the 26th of January '09.
Changes:
1) Maps to be added based on your requests. None to be removed this season. Expect a few custom maps. Based on response to them they can be made permanent or removed for good.
2) Pb_sv_guidrelax '1' (Previous value used was 7)
(Detailed explanation about this is added in the following reply.)
3) I still need to finalise the pb config to have much more thorough checks. Will be doing it soon and will notify the server admins as well as players asap. Would be great if other server admins can test out such values and help make a pb config for all servers to follow.
4) Tournament: 4v4 Tournament is already on. Based on your responses and suggestions, we can work out if we want to do it often or never at all, as well as the style of the tournament.
Feel free to pm me about anything for a quick reply or just post here. Additional changes can/will be made in the first couple of weeks mostly.
Thanks for all the support and the games!

Fraggers,
Do you like competing online and at LAN Centers?
Do you live on the East Coast (NC, SC, VA, or TN)?
If you answered yes, to both of these questions then the post below should be right up your alley.
-----------------------------------------------------

Triangle Gaming are thrilled to announce a great new partnership. They are teaming with one of the hottest and fastest growing online gaming communities FraggedNation and the biggest and most state of the art LAN centers in the Eastern U.S. RUaGamer.
All three partners are excited to bring gamers from both the online gaming world and LAN gamers from the mid Eastern U.S. region the best new and highly anticipated competitive gaming experience, known as "The Mid East FraggedNation Live Series."
At the heart of the partnership, Triangle Gaming brings both FraggedNation and RUaGamer together in order to offer you, the gamers, this highly anticipated gaming event. Triangle Gaming has been dubbed the information hub for local video gaming, giving gamers access to the latest local news, information, tournaments, and events. The Mid East FraggedNation Live Series is one of those special events that they are sharing with you.
Next is FraggedNation, who will host the online portion of the series. FraggedNation, or FN for short, are currently exclusively hosting the Machinima Frag Cup #2 where over $5000 of cash and prizes are on the line and they also offer tons free ladders and tournaments for a wide range of games on all consoles.
RUaGamer are the next part of the series and will be hosting the LAN portion. RUaGamer are the heart of LAN gaming in North Carolina and have 20 Gaming PC's on 22" Monitors, 24 Xbox 360's on 26" HD LCD Televisions, 8 Xbox 360's on 42"HD LCD Televisions and Repose E-1000 Multimedia gaming chairs and more goodies for teh ultimate LAN gaming experience.
So just what in the world is "The Mid East FraggedNation Live Series"? Well it is a gaming competition like no other. The event is actually split into 3 different gaming series, each offering $1000 in cash + prizes guaranteed. Each series consists of a different game which starts as an "online" qualifying ladder competition, followed by the Live and exciting LAN tournament finals. The overall competition is geared towards those gamers living in NC, VA, TN, and SC, or those willing to make a trip to NC. Why only these states? Well the online portion would normally mean that anyone from across the country, or even the world could take part however the 2nd half of the series is the LAN tournament and since this is hosted by RUaGamer, finalists need to be able to travel to NC to take part.

As previously mentioned The Mid East FraggedNation Live Series will actually be 3 different game series. Those three games and team sizes that are going to rock gamers to their core are:
Halo 3 2v2 for Xbox
- Online ladder: June 28th - July 26th.
- Live tournament: August 7th.
Modern Warfare 2 2v2 for Xbox
- Online ladder: July 5th - August 2nd.
- Live tournament: August 14th.
Starcraft II 1v1 for PC
- Online ladder: August 16th - September 13th.
- Live tournament: September 25th.
You might be asking how is the The Mid East FraggedNation Live Series going to work? Well that is where the strategic partnership comes into play.
Firstly FraggedNation will host the official qualifying ladders for each game. Gamers will get online, drop over to FN, create an account (if they dont already have one), deposit money into the FN credit system and buy into the ladder(s) that they are wanting to compete in. How much are the buy-ins and why should you pay it? Well "Buy-ins" will be $25 per person, but that is pennies when you hear that each series has $1000 in cash + prizes guaranteed! The first place prize is $500, then $300 for second place prize and $200 for third place prize. Not only that, but the top seeds of each ladder will receive free admission to the live tournament Yup, you heard right. Work your way to the top places in the ladder and you get free admission to the Live LAN event.
That takes us to the next part of the partnership. After each ladder has run its course, the players and teams will be seeded for the 2nd half of each series, which is the Live LAN tournament which will be hosted by the largest LAN center in North Carolina, RUaGamer. So for those lucky ladder participants that move onto the Live LAN tournament (and remembering that the top seeds gain entry to the live event for free), there will be the added atmosphere of hearing and seeing your opponent weep as you rumble your way to victory to claim your cash and prizes.
When does all this action start? There are several ways to find out. First check your local LAN centers for the Mid East FraggedNation Live Series fliers, or even give RUaGamer a call at (919)-238-9714. Other ways are to check out the announcements or forums at http://trianglegaming.com/ and www.fraggednation.com
If you are rusty on your Halo 3, MW2 or SCII skills, or need to find a worthy teammate, head on over to the forums on www.fraggednation.com and post in the clan recruitment section or check out the game specific forums in order to chat with fellow experienced online gamers to get some winning tips.
Don't hesitate ... head over to FraggedNation now and create and account in preparation of the event of the summer.
