| General Description: |
Head Admins are assigned for each ladder at FraggedNation. There can be one or more, but preferrably always at least one. In the absense of
a Head Admin, the Game Admin (See description) is responsible for maintaining the ladder.
The Head Admin(s) for each ladder are the primary contact to which participants should attempt to reach when there is a problem. Only
in the event that the Head Admin cannot be contacted should participants attempt to contact a Game Admin. In the event a Head Admin
cannot be reached to resolve a matter, a Game Admin may be contacted to help resolve the situation, but as a last possible resort.
Any decision made by a Head Admin should be considered final. An appeal can be made to the Game Admins in an instance a participant feels
any decision has not been fairly assessed, however this privilege should not be abused.
Most importantly, the Head Admin of each ladder is charged with making fair, timely, and unbiased decisions for the benefit of their ladder.
They must always listen carefully to community feedback and respond appropriately to make the ladder optimal for it's participants. Head Admins
are also responsible for spreading the word as best as they can in order to increase activity and the overall enjoyment factor for all
participants.

Global Admins
Game Admins (directors)
Head Admins
Ladder Refs
Head Admins report to Game Admins in the event of question or problem.
|
| Responsibilities: |
Setting up all matches that require setup. This includes assigning refs and granting / denying / investigating forfeit requests
Forfeit Investigation. Our goal at FraggedNation is to have the most matches played with the least amount of forfeits. The
Head Admin is responsible for doing everything in their power to ensure that matches are played while still being fair to both
participants.
Ensuring all rules are clearly defined for the ladder. All rules should be clear, concise and accurate. Anything not listed on the
official rule page will never be considered a rule or treated as such (ie forum topics, etc never qualify as official rules)
Maintaining ladder maplist. The Head Admin is responsible for adding maps to the ladder on initial setup, and also keeping a close
eye on the map ratings over the course of each season. Should the ratings for a particular map decline sharply, it is the responsibility
of the head admin to create a topic in the forums regarding the possible removal of the map. They are also responsible for sending out
an email to all participants that a map is undergoing removal discussions so as to give everyone an equal opportunity to vote the map
on or off the ladder. A poll should be created and open for no less than 1 week to determine the fate of the map via the ladder
participants. All votes will be considered final once the Head Admin has ensured that everyone participating received notice of the
removal topic.
Map Downloads. In addition to the maplist maintenance, Head Admins are also required to ensure that all non-stock maps have a working
download. FraggedNation provides space for these downloads so the Head Admin need only upload the file to the designated area and link
the map accordingly.
Maintaining Server Settings. The Head Admin is charged with ensuring that a list of all server settings is made available in the
"Server Settings" portion of the rules page. This can be accomplished via .cfg file (for games that provide this functionality) or using
FraggedNations server settings console to add individual settings. In the event a .cfg file is used, the Head Admin is responsible
for adding a ladder download to the file as well as a link directly to the file from the ladder rules page.
Maintaining Ladder Downloads. The Head admin is responsible for keeping all ladder downloads up to date (where applicable) for files
that are required for server play. This includes any serverside mods or files as well as config files.
Ladder Servers. Head Admins are the contact that should be used to have servers added to the selected list of servers for each
ladder. Head Admins are responsible for checking each server submission to ensure it is able to run matches per current ladder specification.
If a team would like it's server used for FraggedNation matches, they need only ask the Head Admin and they will explain the details.
Starting ladder setting change polls. The Head Admin(s) are the only people who have the authority to start official polls
regarding settings for each ladder. The Head Admin is responsible for notifying all participants on a ladder when such a topic is created
so that each individual team or player has equal opportunity to voice their opinions.
Emailing Participants. Communication is key; Head Admins are responsible for always ensuring that ladder participants are
always properly informed on all issues regarding the ladder.
Referee Assignment. Head Admins are responsible for recruiting and assigning Referees to their ladder where applicable.
|
| End of Season Responsibilities: |
The Head Admin for each ladder is responsible for making an announcement at the end of each season with the top 3 winners. For point based
ladders, they must list their point standings. For Rung Based ladders, simply their win/loss record.
It is also important that the Head Admin send out an email to all participants (active and inactive) regarding the conclusion of the season,
the declared winners, and also the estimated start date of the subsequent season.
During the period between seasons all changes to settings, maps, etc should be brought up and discussed in the forums following the
guidelines above regarding participant awareness.
