The Owner/Admin of this ladder has disabled the Match Finder. This is probably due to a difficult process of assigning Referees to matches. If you feel the Match Finder and 'Open Challenge' concept is appropriate for this ladder, please be sure to bring it up to the Owner/Admin directly, or in the public forums.

Other topics Covered in meeting:
Ladder Time Limit for team to Accept/Decline challenge:
The setting was originally set at no maximum time. This meant that a team could indefinitely either miss a challenge by mistake or ignore it on purpose as to not incur a penalty. This would mean the challenging team was stuck and not able to play other teams until the first challenge was responded too.
After team input this number was changed to 72 hours (3 days). This means that if a challenge is made on a Friday (and the team captains are away all weekend), they have until Monday to accept or decline the challenge. This way if a challenge is ignored, the team can continue and challenge another team.
If the team does not respond to a challenge after the 3 days it is an auto decline.
Challenge out hours:
The number of hours in advance a challenge could be made. This is set at 12 hours. This means if Team A makes a challenge at 8 am in the morning, the earliest time that match can take place is 8 PM that same day. This is to stop short notice challenges in an attempt to cause the other team to receive a penalty to declining a challenge.
Of course if two teams can agree verbally to have a match earlier they can play the match and report it later.
Declines Allowed:
This is the number of challenge declines a team is allowed in a 7 day period before they incur a penalty. This means that can not continuously decline a challenge time after time on purpose just so they do not have to play certain teams.
Originally it was set at 3. After team discussion it was changed to 2. So a team can have 3 days to accept or decline a challenge. Then if they do decline, they have 1 more remaining decline allowed. Once a team surpasses the 7 day declines, they are subjected to a forfeit loss penalty.
Note: If one team continuously gets challenged over and over by a particular team for the same time and even though they declined the first time, they remade the same challenge on purpose to cause the challenged a penalty, then teams are required to submit a ticket on the incident.
Challenges:
It was mentioned to the team captains that the team that MAKES the challenge will get the benefit of the SERVER CHOICE. This is to encourage YOUR team to be proactive and make a challenge BEFORE another team does.
There are instances when the team being challenged may not be able to play on the server that was picked. That team must then REQUEST a change to another server and state the reasons why.
If a team does not want to play on the challenger picked server and instead of requesting a change they decline the challenge and remake the same challenge for the same day and time but change the server to a choice of their own choice (in order to gain the advantage of being on their own clan server) can be subject to having the challenge either deleted or edited by an admin to re-instate the original server choice. Again, the team to make the challenge gets benefit of server location and if the challenged team can not play on that server, they are to state valid reasons for it and request a change.
For example, if a challenge was made by team A from the USA in California and challenged Team B from Europe and they chose a server in LA, then Team B can request a server change to a server in Eastern Europe (often UK or similar) or an EAST coast US server. Both teams will then compromise to play.
However if Team A picks a clan server in Dallas and team B requests a change to their clan server in Chicago since they don't like the "server settings." Team A can either accept or decline the change since there is no compromise for both teams, just for the one team to gain more advantage over the other.
If BOTH teams can not resolve on which server to use for the match, then both teams may be asked to play on the donated FN UT3 server for the match. The FN server is considered NEUTRAL ground and neither team or clan has control of it.
Ticket System
The ladders are designed for fair and fun play. Sometimes there are technical issues with servers, maps, trouble between teams prior to matches, a player being abusive in the forums or PM's or in game, a team abusing the ladder settings to try and cause another team to receive a penalty, etc.
In such instances that a Team or player finding a tech issue, or on the receiving end of abuse or anything else requiring action then please use the ticket system.
The ticket system is located under the "My Account" page. (http://www.fraggednation.com/account.php?action=showMenu) Under this page you will see the white icon with 2 tickets as the graphic and the name is support ticket.
Please enter as many details as possible and all tickets are sent to the Ladder/game or head admin. Then each admin has access to review the situation and provide comments and look into the situation. If the ticket requires actions above our access level then we can increase the ticket level and can have the global admins review it.
If a team or player has a problem with an admin, the ticket system is accessible by all the admins and you can provide details and the admin will be reviewed.
Other topics noted in meeting:
Player Game names and Fraggednation names.
Some players have their normal game names, but use a variation or something different in FN and other forums.
Players are asked to use their NORMAL game name while
in matches. This is the name they are commonly known by in the community. The game name does not have to be 100% exact to the FN name as long as both teams are aware of whom the player really is.
For example, [BGE]Miss_Piggy (FN name) and [BGE]Honjunhu (game name) are the same person and this is commonly known.
If there is any doubt of whom a player is, then the TEAM CAPTAINS of each team are to come to an agreement BEFORE the match starts. If both agree on who the person is and the match starts with that person, then the issue is resolved. If the opposing team requests that the person log out (if showing an alias) and log back into the game under the normal game name, then it is expected for that person to comply. This is for fair play and sportsmanship.
Request that the season 1 of the ladder is not indefinite. Have a goal for the season to give incentives for the teams to keep playing.
Currently the season is set to run Until July 15th. At that point trophies will be awarded (in FN) to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.
Then there will be a tournament that will take place over 1 or 2 weekends and the teams will be ranked in the tournament based upon their rankings in the ladder.
More details on the first season will follow shortly.
Tutorial of how to navigate certain areas of FN. FN is full of visual enhancements but also has a lot of functions that take getting used to. A system to help people navigate is being worked on and hopefully will be released in the near future.

General Rules that all Teams need to Read.
Topic: UT3 PC 6 v 6 Warfare Season 3
Posted By: DOZ

There was a recent match where a player decided to change his name for the match. This is not allowed.
Team Capt it's your responsibility to know the Rules.
Please read the General Rules
http://www.fraggednation.com/rules.php
10. Ringing / Name Swapping
10.1 Players shall have only one account under the player's name used in the community most frequently. This will be enforced pragmatically by IP. Any duplicate entries will be reported to the head admins at 12:01 on the day of account creation via scheduled task. Players will only compete under the one account, and under the one name. Changing names for any reason, or playing under any other name could result in permanent banishment from ladder competition pending the situation.
10.2 Under NO circumstances will one player play AS another player for a scheduled official ladder match. In the event someone is found to be doing this (hereby referred to as ringing) they will be banned immediately from 1v1 play until the following season, and penalized 3 team matches on EACH ladder they are a participant of.
10.3 If you feel you have competed against someone ringing for an official ladder match, please inform an Admin so they can do a check of the server logs for IP addresses, and subsequent investigation. This needs to be done ASAP, to have the best & most current info available.
10.4 If a player is banned for misconduct for any reason and attempts to rejoin the ladders for competition until said ban is finished, it will result in a permanent IP level ban.
10.5 If a banned player is a team captain, they will be forced to add another captain to the roster and have themselves removed. Failure to do this could result in the team being removed from play until the situation is resolved.
10.6 In the event the same household / IP has 2 players (such as siblings or spouces) please notify a Head Admin of the situation to ensure the account does not get deleted.

FN WAR ladder almost ready! - Map list updated!
Topic: UT3 PC 6 v 6 Warfare Season 3
Posted By: Chaotic_Cannon

Hi everyone,
The WAR ladder is in the last phase before going live.
Using the input from the community (the EPIC and FN forum threads), the map list has been updated. Please check out the ladder for a complete list.
Here is a breakdown of the update:
- Removed: Sinkhole
- Added: Torlan Winter
- Added: War Too Dark Park (with orb)
- Added: Dawn
- Added: Flare
- Added: Alien Sands
These were the maps that received the most requests from individuals.
In total 1 removed and 5 added for a map list of 16 total.
There were many maps that people wanted to see however they were ones that had bugs, needed a revision to tweak them or are still under development.
If your team has no objections to the updated list of maps, them please can the team captain PM me to let me know.
If any team feels strongly that they still want a map added or removed, again, the team captain is to PM me and there will be one last opportunity for teams to get their say in the map list. The TEAM CAPTAINS only will have to compile a list of 2 to 4 Custom maps they wish to have added or removed.
Then the captains will be invited to join a vent server this weekend to discuss the changes as a group and vote, but this will occur ONLY if any team requests the changes.
If there are no objections by Saturday , 5:00 pm EST then the ladder will go live.

|---|---|
| 1.1 | Unsportsmanlike conduct will be any action that can be deemed as
offensive to the opposing team or the referee. Do not insult, belittle,
or mock your opponent or referee. If there is a disagreement let your
ref and/or team captain handle it and deal with it in a mature manner.
Do not challenge a decision made by the ref in game,if you want to
discuss it in a respectful manner do so after the game. Any disrespect
towards your referee will result in a penalty, skipping the warning
stage, this is your warning. Penalties: 1st Offense: 1 Frag penalty 2nd Offense: 5 Frag penalty (Plus original 1 = 6 Frag loss total) 3rd Offense: Team forfeits match In the case of the above, the team will receive the penalty and thus no matter what the team points are left, then you subtract those points. In the event of overtime, the team would essentially still have the penalty and thus one team will be declared the winner. Always show respect to your referee. Please remember that a referee is donating their time to watch you play, and is merely enforcing the ladder rules. If you have a problem with a ref or with a call or decision made please contact the head admin of the ladder. |
| 2. General Rules | |
| 2.1 | http://www.fraggednation.com/rules.php |
| 3. Scoring | |
| 3.1 | Scoring will be as follows: Two (2) points for a regular time win. One (1) point for an overtime win. Only first and second maps count towards point total. Third map is a tiebreaker map only. First team to reach five (5) points in the first two maps ONLY wins the match, or if neither team reaches five (5) points, team that has the highest point total after two maps wins the match. In the event that the points are tied, the third map is played as a tiebreaker. Team that wins the third map wins the match. |
| 3.2 | Map play: First and second map will be played two (2) rounds each, unless one team reaches five (5) points before both maps have been played twice. Match is over when one team reaches five (5) points. If five (5) points are not reached at the end of two maps, then again team with the highest point total wins the match. |
| 3.3 | Point Tie: In the event of a POINT TIE by the end of the second map, the third map will be played ONCE as a tiebreaker. Team that wins the third map is the winner of the match. Team that has all of their players in the server FIRST at the beginning of the match will choose the side to play on for the third map. |
| 4. Rosters | |
| 4.1 | Each person must play with the name that appears on their team roster in full...no abbreviations or different names will be accepted. |
| 5. Substitutions/Number of players | |
| 5.1 | This is a 6v6 ladder and matches should be played as such. If in the
event a team does not have enough players then the team that does not
have enough should ask the other team for the match to be rescheduled, or the team
with not enough players must take the forfeit loss. |
| 5.2 | If one team can not make the match entirely, or does not meet the required number of people for the match, and the match can not be re-scheduled, then the opposing team may request a forfeit win. Please see section 18 in the General Rules section for details on forfeits. |
| 6. Rescheduling Matches | |
| 6.1 | Please see section 13 in the General Rules for details on rescheduling a match. |
| 7. Match Play | |
| 7.1 | It is the responsibility of each member to have the required maps downloaded BEFORE match time. Failure to do so could result in a forced forfeit for that map. All players from either team must arrive on the server no later then 5 minutes past the scheduled match Time.Failure to do so could result in a forced forfeit. There will now be a 5 minute time limit for all players to be in the server and clicked in between the 1st and 2nd map, and the 2nd and 3rdmap. Any team who does not have all 5 players in and clicked within the5 minutes is subject to a forfeit of the map about to be played. It will be the refs/team captains job to keep track of the time once he or she has joined the server. |
| 7.2 | Please remember to turn off auto taunts before match time. Failure to do so, after a 2nd warning will result in a 5 point core damage penalty. |
| 7.3 | Matches must be reported as soon as the match has ended. Please see section 13 in the General Rules for further explanation. |
| 7.4 | When a Team Challenges they must pick at least one weekend date with a reasonable time. Reasonable is defined as 5pm EST or earlier.Failure to respect this rule will result in receiving penalty points equal to what the loss points would have been for that match. |
| 8. Unsportsmanlike Play | |
| 8.1 | Unsportsmanlike conduct will be any action that can be deemed as offensive to the opposing team or the referee. Do not insult, belittle,or mock your opponent or referee. If there is a disagreement let your ref and/or team captain handle it and deal with it in a mature manner. Do not challenge a decision made by the ref in game, if you want to discuss it in a respectful manner do so after the game. Any disrespect towards your referee will result in a penalty, skipping thewarning stage, this is your warning. Penalties: 1st Offense: 10 point core damage penalty 2nd Offense: 20 point core damage penalty (Plus original 10 = 30 core damage total) 3rd Offense: Team forfeits match Ianthe case of the above, the team will receive the penalty and thus no matter what the team core points are left, the you subtract those points. In the event of overtime, the team would essential still have the penalty and thus the time will be watched to see which core would expire first. Always show respect to your referee. Please remember that a referee is donating their time to watch you play, and is merely enforcing the ladder rules. If you have a problem with a ref or with a call or decision made please contact the head admin of the ladder. |
| 9. Choosing Color/Map Sides | |
| 9.1 | In the event that two teams cannot come to an agreement on who is to be what color, the first team to have ALL of their players in the server may CHOOSE the color they will be for the MATCH. |
| 10. Specific Illegal Mods/Tweaks/Hacks/Cheats | |
| 10.1 | Use of any form of graphic/game tweaks used to create an unfair advantage during play is illegal from the UT3 Ladders. This includes(but is not restricted to) Nosmoke tweaks,Noshadow tweaks, liltweak,Centerview tweaks, timers/HUD hacks, aimbot, slowmo tweak, etc. This list is not limited to just the above mentioned tweaks but anything else being used that's not been approved. |
| 11. Tweaks and Adjustments | |
| 11.1 | Any tweaks or adjustments made to a stock Install of Unreal Tournament that results in a server's anti-cheat Flaging and results in a kicks or bans are the client's responsibility. |
| 11.2 | Keybinds are legal in FN provided they are not programmed to activate tweaks/hacks deemed illegal at FN. Keybinds of illegal tweaks/hacks are looked upon as a loaded cheat -- used or not. |
| 11.3 | The only skins/models allowed in matches are "stock" skins/models.These are skins/models that came with UT originally or one of thesubsequent bonus packs. Bright skins are not allowed. |
| 11.4 | Mouse Axis Adjustments: Mouse X and Y axis sensitivities may never beset or adjusted to values less than 1. Values lower than this creates a type of CV lock which is illegal. |
| 11.5 | Netspeed adjustments may be made to fine tune internet connections but should not be abused. FN deems net speed values legal between the ranges of 5000 and 20000. Values, out of this range, Are considered an illegal tweak. |
| 11.6 | Penalties will be processed on a case by case basis. In all cases the severity of advantage gained will be gauged against said penalties. |
| 12. Midmap Substitution | |
| 12.1 | Any team may substitute 1 player MID map per 3 round match. Mid Map
referes to when a map or round has already started and a player drops
out due to lost internet connection/high ping/computer lock-up, etc.
There will
be no questions asked or discrimination on any team that chooses to use
this 1 player substitution. Once you have used your 1 player substitution you will not be able to again for the remainder of the match. Your substitution must be a player that is eligible on your roster and was so at the time of the challenge. This rule will apply to team based ladders only. This substitution rule does not apply at the end of a map/round. Upon the end of the map/round and before the next map/round begins, as many changes to the teams in-game roster can be made. However, once the next map/round begins, the original rule of the 1 permitted substitution is still in effect. |
| 13. General Rules | |
| 13.1 | http://www.fraggednation.com/rules.php |
| 14. Warfare Servers | |
| 14.1 | For FN UT3 Warfare matches. All match servers are required to have
Epics UT3 OrbFix mutator installed on server before match is to be
played. For customs servers that do not have the OrbFix, the Opposing Team may ask for match to be played on a server with the OrbFix. If both team agree prior to the match in the "pre-match Communications" to play on a custom server with no OrbFix then have fun. But both teams must agree. |
