The Match Finder is disabled for Rung-Based ladders. By it's very nature, rung-based ladders move players up by beating teams ranked higher - multiple challenges and hidden opponents is not conducive to this style of play. In order to use the Match finder, the ladder Owner/Admin will need to set the Ladder Type to ELO Point Based.

|---|---|
| The settings below are selectable on a per-match basis. You will have the opportunity to select these options during the challenge process. The default option is denoted with a * next to it. | |
| Setting Name: | Options: (*) |
| 1. Flag Camping | |
|---|---|
| 1.1 | FLAGCAMPING: is when any person Sits in one place or hides with their Rifle trained on their flag. This Rule will be enforced by the Match Refs at their discretion. This does not mean you cannot play hard Defense. Match Refs will warn the team they are responsible for once before penalizing the team. Penalties are 50 points per penalty, and if more than 3 penalties are assessed, the team is disqualified. In the event of disqualification, the disqualified team is penalized 500 points, and the winner is awarded 500 points. These penalty points are for guidance and each ladder may have it's own penalty structure. You ARE flag camping IF: You are hiding somewhere in the flag room with your crosshairs on the flag. You stand on the flag waiting for people to enter the flag room through it's only entrance (only applicable on certain maps) with your crosshairs on the door You remain within sight of your flag at all times, killing your opponent as they grab your flag. Your actions make it impossible for the opposition to succesfully grab your flag. You are TOLD by an Admin that you are flag camping. There are many map specific situations that may arise. You are NOT flag camping if: You are roaming your base for intruders You maintain a short recon area around the flag room You crouch, hidden, in the ENEMIES base waiting for them to come around the corner with YOUR flag Happen to spawn near the flag and see someone take it Pass through the flag room on your defensive rounds Your ref has the ultimate discretion. |
| 2. Penalties | |
| 2.1 | Reporting: Failure to record the scores in the FN system within 4 hours will result in a standard 50 point penalty (Not negotiable) Failure to report the scores within 4 hours and with repeated requests from an admin thereafter, will result in further penalties and possible de-activation from the ladder (At admins discretion) |
| 2.2 | General Penalties: These can apply to any rule breaking during the game such as flag camping. Different ladders have different rules so expect these penalties to be the 'norm' if rules are broken. 1st Offense: Warning 2nd Offense: 25 points 3rd Offense: 50 points 4th offense: 75 points 5th offense: Team foefeits The warnings are not per map, they are per challenge, so they stack up against you and roll over to the next map. Ref's may use their discretion when giving warnings, watch out for ref's warnings to avoid further penalties. If you have a dispute of any kind, raise it using the trouble ticket system. |
| 2.3 | Unsportsmanlike conduct towards your OPPONENT will result in penalties 1st Offense: Warning 2nd Offense: 50 point team penalty 3rd Offense: Team forfeits Unsportsmanlike conduct towards your REF will result in penalties 1st Offense: Warning 2nd Offense: 100 point team penalty 3rd Offense: Team forfeits Unsportsmanlike conduct will be any action that can be deemed as offensive to the opposing team. Do not insult, belittle, or mock your opponent. Look out for messages from the ref, do not ignore the ref and do not argue or insult your ref. If you have a dispute of any kind, raise it using the trouble ticket system as in game disputes will be deemed unsportsmanlike. |
| 3. Match Play | |
| 3.1 | Spectators are not permitted unless an Admin approves it for training such as a new ref. |
| 3.2 | Player names must be your normal gaming name and must not use colours |
| 3.3 | All matches MUST be recorded. These are only for review by an admin in case of dispute and are not not for review by teams. Demo Rec must be run on the server side. If server side demo's cannot be made then client side demo's should be recorded. It is down to the assigned Ref to ensure a server side demo is recorded and down to each player to record their own client side demo's if no ref is available. Screenshots of the final scores should also be taken by the ref and each team. |
| 3.4 | A match will normally end once the 20 minute time limit has elapsed. The one exception to this rule is detailed below. Upon reaching a 10 flag defecit the losing team can choose to either end the map early, moving on to the next, or to continue playing. This decision is entirely in the hands of the losing team, and the winning team should not be involved in that decision, or contest it. Losing teams should keep in mind that in losing there are many lessons to be learnt and that continuing to play for the expereience may improve your team's play in the long run. Keep in mind that continuing to play leaves the chance to score more flags, earning you more points. |
| 3.5 | Any team may subsitute 1 player midmap per 3 round match. There will be no questions asked or discrimination on any team that chooses to use this 1 player subsitution. Once you have used your 1 player subsitution you will not be able to again for the remainder of the match. Your substitution must be a player that is eligible on your roster and was so at the time of the challenge. |
| 4. General | |
| 4.1 | Challenge anyone above you. You "can not' challenge down ladder. |
