All private ladders at FraggedNation are created, owned, and operated by the respective ladder owners/creators. The
ladder management for each private ladder does not necessarily reflect the management of FraggedNation or it's core policies. Ladder
setup including but not limited to, maps, settings, servers, and challenges are the sole responsibility of the owners of the

The Owner/Admin of this ladder has disabled the Match Finder. This is probably due to a difficult process of assigning Referees to matches. If you feel the Match Finder and 'Open Challenge' concept is appropriate for this ladder, please be sure to bring it up to the Owner/Admin directly, or in the public forums.

| 1. General Rules | |
|---|---|
| 1.1 | GeneralRules: It is every player's responsibility to read, understand, and follow not only the General Rules pertaining to this PC-UT99 platform, but all of FraggedNation General Rules.
(Please note that specific ladder rules may vary and normally have precedence over General Rules as long as they don't directly contradict or undermine FN General Rules) Please See General Rules for Information on anything and everything you do not see listed in these ladder specific rules. Such as but not limited to: Chain of Command Cheating Fighting and Misconduct Spectating Ref Abuse Challenging, Accepting and Declining General Ladder Rules Forfeits Reporting a Match Challenging a Refs Call EOL Point System Support Tickets http://www.fraggednation.com/rules.php |
| 2. Tweaks and Adjustments | |
| 2.1 | Keybinds are legal in FN provided they are not programmed to activate tweaks/hacks deemed illegal at FN. Keybinds of illegal tweaks/hacks are looked upon as a loaded cheat used or not. |
| 2.2 | Any tweaks and or adjustments made to a stock Install of Unreal Tournament that results in server anticheat Flags, kicks, bans are the clients responsibility. |
| 2.3 | The only skins/models allowed in matches are "stock" skins/models. These are skins/models that came with UT originally or one of the subsequent bonus packs. Bright skins are not allowed. |
| 2.4 | Mouse Axis Adjustments: Mouse X and Y axis sensitivities may never be set or adjusted to values less than 1. Values lower than this creates a type of CV lock which is illegal. |
| 2.5 | Netspeed adjustments may be made to fine tune internet connections but should not be abused. FN deems netspeed values legal between the ranges of 5000 and 20000. Values, out of this range, Are considered an illegal tweak. |
| 2.6 | Penalties wil be processed on a case by case basis. In all cases the severity of advantage gained will be gauged against said penalties. |
| 2.7 | Use of any form of graphic/game tweaks used to create an unfair advantage during play is illegal from the UT99 Ladders. This includes (but is not restricted to) No smoke tweaks, No shadow tweaks, lilt tweak, Center view tweaks, timers/HUD hacks. This list is not limited to just the above mentioned tweaks but anything else being used that has not been approved. |
| 3. Private Ladder Owners | |
| 3.1 | FraggedNation prides itself on allowing privately owned ladders to run their course with minimal interference or influence from FN
staff; however there are some areas mentioned above that apply to private ladders and remain the jurisdiction of FraggedNation as well. Mainly issues of cheating or misconduct to a point that it spills over the borders of good sportsmanship and treatment of other members of this community. In these cases, FraggedNation will not turn a blind eye to areas of misconduct solely because it pertains to a privately owned ladder. Private owners, we ask that you do your absolute best in all areas of your ownership to provide a fair, fun, and impartial environment for the members of this community. It has become evident, despite any disclaimer, that although private ladders are run by private owners, when criticism arises, it usually has FraggedNation tagged to it, thus private ladders, like it or not are a reflection of FraggedNation, a reflection we care about. Public Admins who participate in or are owners of private ladders are still expected to conduct themselves as professionals and representatives of FraggedNation. Your status as a public official doesn't change because you are involved in a private ladder, nor should what is expected of you. |

| 5. Match Play | |
| 5.1 | The Challenged team may choose the color they will be for the match. |
| 5.2 | Any team may substitute 1 IP per map. There will be no questions asked or discrimination on any team that chooses to use this 1 IP substitution. Once you have used your 1IP substitution you will not be able to again for the remainder of the map. Your substitution must be a player(s) that is/are eligible on your roster and was so at the time of the challenge. |
| 5.3 | This is a 6v6 ladder and matches should be played as such. If in the event a team does not have enough players, then a match must be played as a 4v4 or 5v5. If there are not enough people to play 4v4 then the match should be either rescheduled for a later date or forfeited for the following reasons:
|
| 5.4 | Each person must play with the name that appears on their team roster in full, no abbreviations or different names will be accepted. No additional time will be allotted for this other than what is currently in place. Meaning that if a team doesn't have all its members correctly named and ready for play the ref can call that map in favor of the team properly ready. |
| 5.5 | In the event a map is tied due to penalties or a map is not working properly please use the following default maps in order. If the a map has already been played please use the next in the list. (SUF)Skully'sLandingV3 !!!{DMF}Savage @ Son (ASC)3ommies-resort_FNv4 (]TKK[Tyris_Room)_V3 |
| 5.6 | In cases where match outcome will be altered due to a support ticket a forfeit will not be granted based on a forfeit penalty. All forfeit penalties must be called by a ref in match. All penalties that would reach a forfeit will receive a -3 frags Penalty in its place. |
| 6. Warnings and Penalties | |
| 6.1 | Please note: Warnings and penalty frags are issued to the entire team, not the individual person. Warnings and penalties are carried to each map and do not reset at the beginning of each map. If you are unsure what some of these penalties are Please See Definition sheet Here |
| 6.2 | Excessive Voice Taunts Taunts must be turned off before the match. |
| 6.3 | Illegal Camping
1st Offense: Warning |
| 6.4 | Hiding At no time will a player take a location that gives NO chance of the other team killing them without being assaulted. Examples:
How to best define hiding is if the only thing that could possibly kill you is in your scope then you are hiding. Remember that you must always maintain a level of vulnerability throughout the map / match. Some allowances are made for using the F5 function; however, use in moderation. You will be warned and possibly unsportsmanlike penalty point deductions will occur for not listening to a refs warning concerning this function. 1st Offense: Warning 2nd Offense: -1Frag 3rd Offense: -3Frags 4th Offense: Forfeit of Match |
| 6.5 | Assault (successful or not) Has to involve intent and prior knowledge. Intent, meaning intentional movement towards the known target in order to acquire a frag, whether you are successful or not. Prior knowledge, meaning that you saw the target yourself or your teammates told you. Be warned that a failed assault attempt is still assault and will be charged against said team as such. 1st Offense : -3Frags 2nd Offense: -3Frags 3rd Offense: -3Frags 4th Offense: Forfeit of Match
|
| 6.6 | Excessive Movement Any movement without Circumstance is Excessive Movement. Spots should be camped for at least 1 minute before running or using tele to travel to another spot. This does not pertain to crouch movement which is allowed at all times to travel. We also don't consider vertical tele movement as excessive movement either.
In most cases Circumstantial movement will pertain to being under fire or you feel your spot has been compromised for some reason. 1st Offense: Warning 2nd Offense: -1Frag 3rd Offense: -3Frags 4th Offense: Forfeit of Match |
| 6.7 | Crouched Movement is allowed so long as you are not breaking any other rules while doing so, an example would be assault. If you know where your opponent is be stealthy and use your crouched movement to place yourself across the map to shoot them. Running, Transing, flipping and dodging is not Crouched movement and will be charged as excessive movement if it is not done with circumstance. See Rule Above. |
| 6.8 | Spawn Killing 1st Offense: -3Frags 2nd Offense: -3Frags 3rd Offense: -3Frags Spawn protection is the timegiven to find a place to Camp. If you do not use this time to find a locationand you are shot this is not a spawn kill.
|
| 6.9 | Player Proximity At no time will a team Camp with 3 or more players in the same location. Time will be given to realize this and relocate a player if this occurs. Once players realize they are in violation of this rule the must move or penalties will be given as follows. 1st Offense: Warning 2nd Offense: -1Frag 3rd Offense: -3Frags |
| 6.10 | End Of Match Violations During the last 3 minutes of any map, no warnings for violations will be given. Violations will result in immediate penalty regardless of whether or not previous warnings were given. |
| 7. Unsportsmanlike Play | |
| 7.1 | Unsportsmanlike Play Unsportsmanlike conduct will be any action that can be deemed as offensive to the opposing team or the referee. Do not criticize, insult, belittle, or mock your opponent or referee. If there is a disagreement let your ref and team captain handle it and deal with it in a mature manner. Team captains can a file Support Ticket after the match. Do not challenge a decision made by the ref in game. Any disrespect towards your referee will result in a penalty: 1st Occurrence: Team Warning |
| 7.2 | Always show respect to your referee. Please remember that a referee is donating their time to watch you play, and is merely enforcing the ladder rules. If you have a problem with a ref or with a call or decision made please contact the Head Admin of the ladder. |
| 8. Tournament after Ladder | |
| 8.1 | This ladder requires a 6 seed tournament to be played immediatley after end of Ladder Season. Top 2 seeds will receive a bye to next round. Seed 3 will play Seed 6 and Seed 4 will play Seed 5 and reseed after that. |
| 8.2 | Top seed in ladder will have choice of either Server to play on for entire match or first map pick which will be the best 3 out of 5. Winner moves on to next round of tourament. Whatever Higher seed chooses other team gets other choice. |
| 8.3 | Teams that lose in 2nd round of tournament will play each other for 3rd place with same rules as above. |
| 8.4 | Once Ladder ends no new players are allowed to play in the tournament that were added after season end. In Short, the players you ended the season with are the only players that can play in the tournament, all new additions have to wait till next season. |
| 8.5 | Seeing how this is best of 5 maps instead of 3 we have extended the same penalty rule from 4 to 6 for match forfeits. |
