It is every player's responsibility to read, understand, and follow not only the General Rules pertaining to this PC-UT99 platform, but all of FraggedNation General Rules.

Mainly issues of cheating or misconduct to a point that it spills over the borders of good sportsmanship and treatment of other members of this community.  In these cases, FraggedNation will not turn a blind eye to areas of misconduct solely because it pertains to a privately owned ladder.  

Private owners, we ask that you do your absolute best in all areas of your ownership to provide a fair, fun, and impartial environment for the members of this community.

It has become evident, despite any disclaimer, that although  private ladders are run by private owners, when criticism arises, it usually has FraggedNation tagged to it, thus private ladders, like it or not are a reflection of FraggedNation, a reflection we care about. 

Public Admins who participate in or are owners of private ladders are still expected to conduct themselves as professionals and representatives of FraggedNation.  Your status as a public official doesn't change because you are involved in a private ladder, nor should what is expected of you.

Please note that:

Warnings and penalty frags are issued to the entire team, not the individual person. Warnings and penalties ARE carried to each map and do not reset at the beginning of each map.

• No run and gun play: Run and Gun and Hunting are defined as excessive movement and/or transing with the intent to find opponents instead of trying to get to a sniper spot.

• Constant swirly hopping is considered excessive movement.
  

• You have to camp for at least 2min (of course you can camp the whole map at one spot) in a spot without movement. Anyone moving without circumstance will be penalized for excessive movement. 
• IF you decide to move you have 10seconds to trans/stealth/run to another spot or you will be penalized for excessive movement.
  

No spawn killing!

No warnings. Spawn kills will be handled by the CoPs FooFoo Mod, which will take the 3 frags from the spawn killer.

First and every offense is a -3 frags penalty (there will not be a 4th offense forfeit due to the penalty being handled by the mod).

-Using your spawn period as an offensive weapon
-Chasing a spawner "near or far" in order to get a frag
-Doubling back to shoot an enemy you saw instead of continuing on to a spot
-Peppering a spawner with continuous fire until a kill is reached, thus never allowing him or her to reasonably reach a camping spot
-Spawning in proximity of, in plain view of, a camper and intentionally staying there to engage fire instead of finding another spot

No assaults!

No warnings.

First, second, and third offense is a -3 frag penalty.

4th offense will be a match forfeit.

You may not charge at another player, team or position.

Has to involve "intent" and "prior knowledge". Intent, meaning intentional movement towards the known target in order to acquire a frag, whether you are successful or not. Prior knowledge, meaning that you saw the target yourself or your teammates told you. Be warned that a failed assault attempt is still assault and will be charged against said team as such.

Hiding:

At no time will a player take a location that gives NO chance of the other team killing them without being assaulted for greater than 30 seconds. Hiding in a hole that offers no view out to the rest of the map is an example. 

- 1st offense: Warning
- 2nd offense: -1 frag
- 3rd offense: -3 frags
- 4th offense: Instant team forfeit (the match ends then)

Other match violations:

• No elevator camping or blocking.
• No visually camping of a portal/swirly/teleporter.
• No image-dropping.
• No camping of a soft texture such as (examples, but not limited by these examples) a plant, tree or fire.
• No camping of a tunnel/hallway which doesn't give you a view of the rest of the map. You have to be visible and visually scoping for the map through an opening/window/etc.
  
  Anyone camping on these spots will have the following penalties:
  1st offense: Warning
  2nd offense: -1 frag
  3rd offense: -3 frags
  4th offense: match forfeit
• 
  In addition to the penalties above, any kills made from these areas will incur a -2 frag deduction.
  

Please remember to turn off auto-taunts. You will receive 1 warning then if they are not turned off you will then receive a -1 frag penalty each time an auto-taunt is activated.

It is the responsibility of each member to have the required maps downloaded BEFORE match time. Failure to do so could result in a forfeit for that map. Time restraints will be observed, followed, and enforced as listed below.

There will be no grace offered by any opponent concerning tardiness or no shows, regardless of excuses. (Baring map / Server issues)


All players from either team must arrive on the server no later then 10 minutes past the scheduled match time. Failure to do so, will result a mandatory "no choice" forfeit of map 1 call by the ref against the unprepared team. (Match time= Map 1 start time)

Between maps (1 & 2 / 2 & 3) will still carry a 5 minute time limit for all players to be on the server and clicked in. Any team who does not have all 5 players on and clicked in within 5 minutes will suffer a mandatory 'No choice'-forfeit of the map about to be played.

It will be the ref(s) job to keep track of the time once he or she has joined the server, no one else.

In the event a match is tied due to penalties or a map is not working properly please use the following default maps in order. If a map has already been played please use the next in the list.

Roster-name

Each person must play with the name that appears on their team roster in full. Only the addition or deletion of Clan Tags will be permitted. No abbreviations or different names will be accepted.

No additional time will be allotted for this other than what is currently in place, five (5) minutes. Meaning that if a team doesn't have all it's members correctly named and ready for play in those five minutes, the ref can call that map in favor of the team properly ready. 

Team availabilities:

It is the responsibility of the Team Captains to post their team availibilties for during the week and weekend. Team Cpts. will do this by logging these time-frames in the 'Availibility Times for the US/EURO Sniping and Camping TDM'-thread.

Failure to add these information will cause a Head-Admin or Game-Director to list reasonable daily time-frames for your team. Current time-frames should beat at least a two (2) hours minimum time-frame. All the challenges should be made inside these hours by the team you are challenging, unless mutual agreement is reached between teams and is approved by a Head-Admin or Game-Director.
