The Owner/Admin of this ladder has disabled the Match Finder. This is probably due to a difficult process of assigning Referees to matches. If you feel the Match Finder and 'Open Challenge' concept is appropriate for this ladder, please be sure to bring it up to the Owner/Admin directly, or in the public forums.

| Setting Name: | Options: (*) |
| 1. General Rules | |
|---|---|
| 1.1 | GeneralRules: It is every player's responsibility to read, understand, and follow not only the General Rules pertaining to this PC-UT99 platform, but all of FraggedNation General Rules.
(Please note that specific ladder rules may vary and normally have precedence over General Rules as long as they don't directly contradict or undermine FN General Rules) Please See General Rules for Information on anything and everything you do not see listed in these ladder specific rules. Such as but not limited to: Chain of Command Cheating Fighting and Misconduct Spectating Ref Abuse Challenging, Accepting and Declining General Ladder Rules Forfeits Reporting a Match Challenging a Refs Call EOL Point System Support Tickets http://www.fraggednation.com/rules.php |
| 2. Tweaks and Adjustments | |
| 2.1 | Keybinds are legal in FN provided they are not programmed to activate tweaks/hacks deemed illegal at FN. Keybinds of illegal tweaks/hacks are looked upon as a loaded cheat used or not. |
| 2.2 | Any tweaks and or adjustments made to a stock Install of Unreal Tournament that results in server anticheat Flags, kicks, bans are the clients responsibility. |
| 2.3 | The only skins/models allowed in matches are "stock" skins/models. These are skins/models that came with UT originally or one of the subsequent bonus packs. Bright skins are not allowed. |
| 2.4 | Mouse Axis Adjustments: Mouse X and Y axis sensitivities may never be set or adjusted to values less than 1. Values lower than this creates a type of CV lock which is illegal. |
| 2.5 | Netspeed adjustments may be made to fine tune internet connections but should not be abused. FN deems netspeed values legal between the ranges of 5000 and 20000. Values, out of this range, Are considered an illegal tweak. |
| 2.6 | Penalties wil be processed on a case by case basis. In all cases the severity of advantage gained will be gauged against said penalties. |
| 2.7 | Use of any form of graphic/game tweaks used to create an unfair advantage during play is illegal from the UT99 Ladders. This includes (but is not restricted to) No smoke tweaks, No shadow tweaks, lilt tweak, Center view tweaks, timers/HUD hacks. This list is not limited to just the above mentioned tweaks but anything else being used that has not been approved. |
| 3. Private Ladder Owners | |
| 3.1 | FraggedNation prides itself on allowing privately owned ladders to run their course with minimal interference or influence from FN
staff; however there are some areas mentioned above that apply to private ladders and remain the jurisdiction of FraggedNation as well. Mainly issues of cheating or misconduct to a point that it spills over the borders of good sportsmanship and treatment of other members of this community. In these cases, FraggedNation will not turn a blind eye to areas of misconduct solely because it pertains to a privately owned ladder. Private owners, we ask that you do your absolute best in all areas of your ownership to provide a fair, fun, and impartial environment for the members of this community. It has become evident, despite any disclaimer, that although private ladders are run by private owners, when criticism arises, it usually has FraggedNation tagged to it, thus private ladders, like it or not are a reflection of FraggedNation, a reflection we care about. Public Admins who participate in or are owners of private ladders are still expected to conduct themselves as professionals and representatives of FraggedNation. Your status as a public official doesn't change because you are involved in a private ladder, nor should what is expected of you. |
| 4. Rosters | |
| 4.1 | Roster-name |
| 5. End of map violations | |
| 5.1 | 3 Minute rule. During the last 3 minutes of any map, no warnings for violations will be given. Violations will result in immediate penalties regardless of whether or not previous warnings were given. Penalties will be: -3 frags for all penalties in the last 3 mins. |
| 6. Unsportsmanlike Play | |
| 6.1 | Unsportsmanlike conduct will be any action that can be deemed as offensive to the opposing team or the referee. Do not insult, belittle, or mock your opponent or referee. If there is a disagreement let your ref and Team Captain handle it and deal with it in a mature manner. A Team Captain can file Support Ticket after the match. Do not challenge a decision made by the ref in game, any disrespect towards your referee will result in a penalty:
Always show respect to your referee. Please remember that a referee is donating their time to watch you play, and is merely enforcing the ladder rules. If you have a problem with a ref or with a call or decision made please contact the Head-Admin of the ladder. |
| 6.2 | The only allowable communication will be through a team captain or representative and it must pertain to drawing attention to an ongoing violation of some kind that is being missed by the ref(s). This must be short and concise. |
| 7. Match Play | |
| 7.1 | The Challenged team will choose the color they will be for the match. |
| 7.2 | It is the responsibility of each member to have the required maps downloaded BEFORE match time. Failure to do so could result in a forfeit for that map. Time restraints will be observed, followed, and enforced as listed below. |
| 7.3 | In the event a match is tied due to penalties or a map is not working properly please use the following default maps in order. If a map has already been played please use the next in the list. Condo[TA]Style[EST]SummerHousev2 Seyne [FBI]-SE

| 10. Substitutions/Number of players | |
| 10.1 | This is a 5v5 ladder but it can be played as a 6v6 as long as both teams agree. If in the event a team does not have enough players, then a match will be played as a 4v4, (if more players come it can be changed back to 5v5 or 6v6 after the current Map). If one team isn't going to have 4 players to play they must ask to reschedule according to General Rule 12.1 or risks a forfeit (see Rescheduling Matches below). |
| 11. Challenging | |
| 11.1 | All challenges will be made on the hour. Under NO circumstances are matches to be scheduled for the 15, 30 or 45 minutes after the hour. Example: matches WILL be scheduled for 3:00 PM but NOT 3:15, 3:30, or 3:45. |
| 11.2 | Team availabilities: |
| 11.3 | Reasonable match times: There will be no matches that start later than 9:15pm EST or GMT for any team, weekday or weekend, unless both teams agree and is approved by an admin. Match times for US vs. US teams: - Weekdays will be no earlier than 7pm EST - Weekend-days will be no earlier than 12pm EST Match times for EURO vs. EURO teams: - Weekdays will be no earlier than 5pm GMT - Weekend-days will be no earlier than 12pm GMT Match times for US vs. EURO teams: - Weekend-days will be no earlier than 12pm EST / 5pm GMT. - Initial challenge should be set for weekend-days only, then the change-request system can be used for attempting to do matches during the weekdays. Example: All Euro vs. US challenges will initially start with a weekend-day and time. This weekend-day & time will be considered a commitment until otherwise changed by the two teams agreeing or accepted by an admin. Only once this initial weekend-day & time has been set and is initially accepted, can either team open a proper & visible communication (use the pre-match comments) for a weekday match. If no agreement is reached for a weekday match within 24 hours of the initial agreement, then the initial weekend-day & time will remain the commitment. |
