| 1. General Rules | |
|---|---|
| 1.1 | GeneralRules: It is every player's responsibility to read, understand, and follow not only the General Rules pertaining to this PC-UT99 platform, but all of FraggedNation General Rules.
(Please note that specific ladder rules may vary and normally have precedence over General Rules as long as they don't directly contradict or undermine FN General Rules) Please See General Rules for Information on anything and everything you do not see listed in these ladder specific rules. Such as but not limited to: Chain of Command Cheating Fighting and Misconduct Spectating Ref Abuse Challenging, Accepting and Declining General Ladder Rules Forfeits Reporting a Match Challenging a Refs Call EOL Point System Support Tickets http://www.fraggednation.com/rules.php |
| 2. Tweaks and Adjustments | |
| 2.1 | Keybinds are legal in FN provided they are not programmed to activate tweaks/hacks deemed illegal at FN. Keybinds of illegal tweaks/hacks are looked upon as a loaded cheat used or not. |
| 2.2 | Any tweaks and or adjustments made to a stock Install of Unreal Tournament that results in server anticheat Flags, kicks, bans are the clients responsibility. |
| 2.3 | The only skins/models allowed in matches are "stock" skins/models. These are skins/models that came with UT originally or one of the subsequent bonus packs. Bright skins are not allowed. |
| 2.4 | Mouse Axis Adjustments: Mouse X and Y axis sensitivities may never be set or adjusted to values less than 1. Values lower than this creates a type of CV lock which is illegal. |
| 2.5 | Netspeed adjustments may be made to fine tune internet connections but should not be abused. FN deems netspeed values legal between the ranges of 5000 and 20000. Values, out of this range, Are considered an illegal tweak. |
| 2.6 | Penalties wil be processed on a case by case basis. In all cases the severity of advantage gained will be gauged against said penalties. |
| 2.7 | Use of any form of graphic/game tweaks used to create an unfair advantage during play is illegal from the UT99 Ladders. This includes (but is not restricted to) No smoke tweaks, No shadow tweaks, lilt tweak, Center view tweaks, timers/HUD hacks. This list is not limited to just the above mentioned tweaks but anything else being used that has not been approved. |
| 3. Private Ladder Owners | |
| 3.1 | FraggedNation prides itself on allowing privately owned ladders to run their course with minimal interference or influence from FN
staff; however there are some areas mentioned above that apply to private ladders and remain the jurisdiction of FraggedNation as well. Mainly issues of cheating or misconduct to a point that it spills over the borders of good sportsmanship and treatment of other members of this community. In these cases, FraggedNation will not turn a blind eye to areas of misconduct solely because it pertains to a privately owned ladder. Private owners, we ask that you do your absolute best in all areas of your ownership to provide a fair, fun, and impartial environment for the members of this community. It has become evident, despite any disclaimer, that although private ladders are run by private owners, when criticism arises, it usually has FraggedNation tagged to it, thus private ladders, like it or not are a reflection of FraggedNation, a reflection we care about. Public Admins who participate in or are owners of private ladders are still expected to conduct themselves as professionals and representatives of FraggedNation. Your status as a public official doesn't change because you are involved in a private ladder, nor should what is expected of you. |

| 5. The Game | |

| 6. Maps | |
| 6.1 | This maplist was not chosen randomly. However, ratings / comments can be given in the maplist! New maps can be voted for in the forum. |
| 6.2 | Please ensure that you have the 3 maps, randomly chosen for the match, in your UT folder BEFORE the match starts. That way, you decrease the occurrance of a download issue at the time of the match. All maps can be found in the TDM maplist. Others are stock maps. |
| 7. Servers | |
| 7.1 | Please ensure that you can connect to the specified server for the match, before the actual match takes place. That way, you decrease the possibility of being delayed because of server <-> client issues. |

| 8.2 | You may NOT switch a team member DURING a round of play. |
| 8.3 | You may substitute 1 ineligible player for play during the match. An ineligible player is someone who was NOT on your roster at the time of challenge, but as of the date of the match has been on the roster for at least 36 hours. Any team may substitute an ineligible player who was not on their roster at the time of the challenge, but has signed on AT LEAST 2 HOURS PRIOR to the time and date of the match. This is contingent on agreement from the opposing team. No exceptions will be made for players NOT on the roster 2 hours prior to the match. Substituting more than 1 ineligible player in accordance to the rules above is strictly prohibited unless otherwise specified in the ladder specific rules irregardless of team agreements. |
| 8.4 | You may NOT under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES substitute a non-roster player for play in a match. |
| 8.5 | Failure to obey these rules will result in disqualification from current match, as well as a penalty designated by the assigned admin. 2nd offense could result in removal from ladder competition. |
| 8.6 | 2 players will play 2 players on this Ladder. There will NOT be any dropping of # of players, as some other ladders. That would be a 1v1 ladder. This is 2v2. |
| 9. Unsportsmanlike Play | |
| 9.1 | Unsportsmanlike conduct will be any action that can be deemed as offensive to the opposing team OR the Ref. Do not insult, belittle, or mock your opponent or Ref. If there is a disagreement let your ref handle it and deal with it in a mature manner. |

| 9.3 | Offending team may NOT substitute the lost player by another for that one round. If another round is to be played, the offending team may bring in another eligible player. |
| 9.4 | If 2 members are restricted to continue the match, or if the offending team does not have enough players to continue, a forfeit will be issued! |
| 9.5 | Continued misconduct will result in further action including, but not limited to: Suspension from ladder for time period TBD by Head Admin or higher, banishment from ladder, or banishment from FraggedNation competition. |
