The Match Finder is disabled for Rung-Based ladders. By it's very nature, rung-based ladders move players
up by beating teams ranked higher - multiple challenges and hidden opponents is not conducive to this style of play. In order to use the Match
finder, the ladder Owner/Admin will need to set the Ladder Type to ELO Point Based.

| Static Match Settings: |
|---|
| The settings below are REQUIRED settings for every match played on this ladder. All matches must adhere to these settings or risk disqualification. These settings CANNOT be modified for a specific match without the express permission of a Head Admin or Game Director. To have your opinion heard on these settings, please visit the forums; forum links are available to the right of the standings just above the ShoutBox. |
| Setting Name: | Setting Value: |
|---|
| Selectable Match Settings: |
|---|
| The settings below are selectable on a per-match basis. You will have the opportunity to select these options during the challenge process. The default option is denoted with a * next to it. |
| Setting Name: | Options: (*) |
|---|
| 1. Map |
|---|
| 1.1 | Challenger chooses the map. Play until one player has 10 wins. Switch sides. Play until one player has 10 wins. Add scores together, higher score wins. In the event of a tie, the defending player wins. |
| 2. Weapons |
|---|
| 2.1 | Matches will be MP5 only. No grenades. Ammo restock is allowed. |
| 3. Final Score |
|---|
| 3.1 | The winner is responsible for taking 2 screenshots for each match: 1 screen for each side played. Upload the screens to the fraggednation.com "Report Results" page. You can ask the losing player to take the screens if you don't know how, but the responsibility is on the winner. |
| 4. Date/Time |
|---|
| 4.1 | The challenger will specify a date/time for the match. You can propose an alternate date/time if the original parameters don't work for you. Make sure to set your local time zone in your profile preferences on this site! If you do not, then the match date/time may not display correctly for your time zone!
Meet in the chatbox on the forum at the agreed date/time. If the two players find themselves online at the same time before the scheduled match, they can play their match early if both players agree. This site allows you to report your results early.
If you do not show up for an accepted challenge, you will lose the match. If your opponent is not in the chat at the scheduled time, take a screen of the chat box. Wait 10 minutes. Take another screen of the chat to show that the opponent did not show up. Report results back to this site and upload both chat screens to the "Report Results" page. |
| 5. Sportsmanship |
|---|
| 5.1 | All ladder members should be respectful of all opponents at all times. It can be frustrating to lose, but don't take it out on your opponent. Being respectful also involves acknowledging your losses. Don't blame the lag, your computer, your ping, the cat, or your neighbour for downloading too many movies and slowing down your connection. If you can't accept that, then come back when you can :D
"Hello" "Good luck" "Have fun" and "Good game" (or hi, gl, hf, and gg) are all encouraged, and don't be shy about letting your opponent know when they make a nice play :) |
