Cancellation of "Kickin Ash for Cash" Far Cry 2 Tournament

To those interested in the XBOX Far Cry 2 tournament:
Unfortunately due to lack of interest from the community we have to cancel the this Tournament.
All of us here at FraggedNation were hoping that more players and teams would sign up.
However for a cash prize tournament it was a requirement to have at least 6 teams and we fell short of that mark.
Our apologies go out to the community and especially to those teams that did sign up (if any), but it is beyond our control as the players did not come out to support this event. Those players that did pay the entrance fee will be refunded in due course.
Lets hope we can regroup and continue the ladders and take our frustrations out on your ladder opponents.

1st Tournament:
Type: 3v3 Hardcore Team Deathmatch
Style: Double Elimination
Buy-In (per player): 5 Credits
FN Sponsored amount: 250 Credits
Payout: TBD
Prize Allocation for both tournaments are as follows:
1st place - 50%
2nd place - 30%
3rd place - 20%

Below is a list of maps that Far Cry 2 has to offer. These maps are the standard maps that come with the game.
So you know, the Game Admins, will choose at least one map a piece that will be used throughout the Tournament.
We would like to hear from the community on which maps you would like to see used. You can only vote once, but don't worry, we are taking the ladder map votes into consideration also.
Just remember, the team size will be 6v6 or smaller, so be careful when you choose the map of your choice.

There have been requests, rumors, and delays. However, the moment has arrived!
FraggedNation's "Big Cash for Kickin Ash Tournament Weekends".
Select games have been chosen to host cash payout tournaments, FarCry 2 on Xbox360 being one of them!
What kind of Big Cash you ask? FraggedNation is donating 250.00 credits to the purse. There will be a 5 credit buy-in per player. This means that, for example, if 20 players (5 x 20 = 100 + 250 |FN| purse donation) sign up, the purse will be $350! And it can only go higher... so spread the word!
The payout structure for 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be as follows: 1st place = 50% of the purse. 2nd place = 30% of the purse, 3rd place 20% of the purse.
As always, the action at FraggedNation is all yours, we just do the paperwork. Accordingly, now we want your input as to what this tournament will consist of.
The minimum team size is 2v2. There will NOT be any 1v1's. Maps should be standard/OEM, considered to be balanced and fair by the community. Preferably, the game type should be a nice-n-simple TDM. However, if players feel strongly about a certain style of play, as always the majority rules on FraggedNation. Match settings should be simple, following the community standards you are already accustomed to.
This thread and its poll will run for 2 weeks, ending on Wednesday 8/19. Tournament registration will then run from Wednesday 8/19 to Wednesday 8/26 at 5 credits per player. Tournament matches will commence Friday 9/11 at 8pm EST, and run until Sunday 9/13 11:59pm EST.
Spread the word, bring your friends and clans, better yet - bring your enemies! The more people that sign up, the more money you can win. Please read the Credit Tournament FAQ's..
